Why?  Purchasing direct from WEM is a simple matter if you are using a credit card.  Let the credit company handle the exchange rate.   They can likely get a better rate based on their volume than you can alone.   Shipping is fast.  I have had UK to Texas - ordered on Saturday and in my hands on Wednesday.  Shipping is free on WEM products..  John & Caroline Snyder at WEM are good people and will work with you if you have any questions or problems.  Dealing direct with WEM is a no worry proposition

If you feel you must order from a stateside company, try Pacific Front

http://www.pacificfront.com/

Bill Gruner at PacFront runs a one man shop and doesn't answer emails as fast (or ever) as we would like him to.  Call him and he can give you availability.

You can also order from Snyder & Short at

http://www.shipcamouflage.com/DetailSets.htm

Randy Short may not carry all the stock & may have to order from WEM to fill the order.

Trident Hobbies carries some WEM.   Chris Decker has had some issues with delivery promptness.

Squadron also carries some of the WEM stuff

I will add my testimonial to John Snyder. I ordered on a Thursday, received the following Wednesday, and that was from UK - New Zealand. The resin is awesome, as well as the etch.

I had a query on some of the etch that I'd ordered (as in - "where does it go?") and John replied that he would find out from the person who designed that particular set. His responses are always timely!

I'll too add that I have had 101% excellent service direct from WEM.    Although they are an ocean away, they seem to make you feel like they are next door.

I second going straight to the source - John at WEM is great to work with. When their website was in a fiddly state and wouldn't accept my credit card, he quickly worked out an alternate method for me to place my order. And it is gratifying how quickly things arrive, many times as fast, or faster, than orders from US-based companies (Roll Models comes to mind).

But you know what I like the most about the WEM website? They have PICTURES. Of every ... single ... product. Maybe I'm old fashioned, but if I can't see it before I buy, I take my money elsewhere.

Concur completely. I ordered some stuff from them on Christmas day last year, and it arrived three days later! Also, their Colourcoats paint range are probably the best enamels around, and their etched sets are superb quality and value.

Cheers,

Chris.

It took less than a week to reach me here on the west coast. Like 5-6 days at most.
