At the moment, I'm covering the hull below the waterline of a Heller 1/100 HMS Victory with copper Bare Metal Foil.
Don't worry, it's nowhere near finished yet!
Anyway, I found that the copper BMF is much thicker than the normal stuff, and the adhesive on the back is less sticky than the normal foil. As a result it's a lot more difficult to work with.
Has anyone else encountered this problem, and how did you solve it? I'm coating the sticky side of the BMF with Pritt Power adhesive stick to improve adhesion, which is helping to a certain extent.
Cheers,
Chris.
