Many moons ago FSM had a featured model and article that included an engineering drawing as the centerfold. One of the models was a battleship or heavy cruiser class catapult. I built one from the plans and it came out great. Unfortunately, I have neither the plans nor the back issue. Perhaps someone at FSM can help with a search of their archives. Good Luck.

I remember the article but not the issue of FSM. It was the catapult with a RM Kingfisher in 1/48th.

Looking for an FSM article? It is as close as the left side of your window there. Click on Magazine index and search the PDF for the subject. The article you remember is -Modeling a US Navy catapult in 1/48 scale, Aug 1987 p34.

You're right, Ray, plus they also included the reduction ration for other scales. I built it in 1/72. I had an SOC float scout plane and I was trying to figure out how to display it when the issue arrived in the mail! Talk about great timingBig Smile [:D].
