Well, that's a good question to pose.  What ship is the Black Pearl actually modelled after?  That would give us a good direction.  The Jolly Roger is a good choice, but it's not completely correct.  The designers of the movie ship must have used something as the basis...

Thanks for the link Captain, I too am interested in the Black Pearl.

I would sure like to have a set of those in a larger format, if you hear of any way of obtaining them, please share that information as well.

Just by coincidence, I picked up the Lindberg Jolly Roger at my last club meeting and have been contemplating doing it as the Pearl, but after comparing it to the plans it seems it would be a major project.

Maybe I'll just paint it black and leave it at that!

For those who, like me, are interested in the Pirates of the Caribbean's Black Pearl pirate ship, I have found the plans. The ship in the first movie was actually a set built upon a barge, but the film company built a seaworthy Black Pearl around the Sunset in Alabama for the second and upcoming third movie.
