Need Help With U Boat Paint

I'm doing a Type IXC by Revell/Monogram.Not a spectacular kit,but with a little TLC on the paint job,it can turn into a nice build.I built one that I got as a gift (U 505).I remembered another sub I had been messing with years back.I went digging through the stash and sure enough,there it was!Half built and snuggled in with an old MPC HMS Repulse(also half built).It's the same kit as the U 505.What I'm looking for is an interesting paint scheme to put on it.Do you guys have any ideas?
