                        Hi all. A good friend is getting me an old model of an LPH that I want to make into the LPH-9. He was saying that there might be some kind of after market items for it. Does anyone know where I can get any ?

                        It is the Aroura USS Guadalcanal 1/600 scale.The ship it self is not bad for a 1966 kit.It has good detail for the time frame.The only unwanted thing is the raised detail of the helicopter landing circle markings .These can be sanded off.The helicopters leave much to be desired. With a little bit of scratch building or a PE set the ship could be made into a nice kit.
