which kit is better arii or doyusha?

i findly found a place to buy the 250 yamato but there are two different manufacturers and i was wondering if anyone knows which kit is the better kit.so if anybody has a review or detail on either kit i would love the info thanks and have a good oneBig Smile [:D]

I recall this same question from a few years ago on another site. Consensus was Arii is a fair superior kit to the Doyusha.

From what I´ve seen so far the ARII ex Otaki kit is a well detailed and accurate model kit while the Doyusha Musashi,Yamato and Shinano kits are more like oversized bathtub toys.... the hulls are wrong in shape with solid molded-on railings, the superstructures are very simplified. Somewhere I have read a build-up report of a Doyusha Shinano: the builder did an excellent job but he said if he had to do it again he´d use an ARII hull and build the rest from scratch (ARII has no Shinano, just the two battleships).
