Out of curiousity, I picked up the Arleigh Burke kit. I was impressed by the price (about $20) initially, so I bought it. The kit is nice for this scale. I normally keep to 1:700, so this is definitley big. The detail seems to be adequate compared to the few other ships I have in this scale. As an added bonus, they give you phtoetched railings. They seem a bit thick, but it's a nice touch.

I would like to see them come out with an Oliver Hazard Perry class FFG. I am finishing up the Arleigh Burke and concur that it is a nice model.

I too would like to see a 1/350 OHP class ffg, my wife built them in Seattle's Todd shipyards, and she has told me several times that she would like me to build up a kit for her, but all that is available [within a sane price range] are 1/700 kits.
btw, We have a navy homport here in my town, including the Abe Lincoln, a couple OHP's , an Arleigh Burke class, and several others.

Why did they feel the need to skip over CVN-69? I would love to have a 1/350 Eisenhower (my old ship) to add to my collection, as well as a 1/350 Kearsarge LHD-3 (my wife's.) Get with it, Trumpeter or Tamiya!
