If you go to the Italeri web site they have posted a photo of the hull mold and the bottom side of a hull shot. That's a big mold and a big boat. It doesn't look like there will be any sprue on the hull. Take a look.
Has a release date been established yet for this kit? The last I heard was late this year. I was hoping someone knew of a more detailed timeline.
