I have just read on the IPMS Stockholm site that Revell germany has been bought out by management and a group of investors..
They are now a solely independent entity from revell US.
What is interesting is that one of their first statements was to express an interest in buying Airfix/Heller...Could this mean a lot of both Airfix/Heller and Revell Gbh ship kits from day of yore being resurrected...I certainly hope that Humbrol paints will continue but I am not hopeful as they would compete with revells own line...We shall see..
We may yet see the Airfix Lifeboat issued after all.. I can think of many kits not just ships from the back catalogue that I would love to see brought back to the light of day......
