Do not recommend 1/350 pe.

Recommend:

1. 1/400 railings from either WEM or Tauro or Eduards as these are fine rails

2. 1/400 Ladders set from anyone-incline, vertical, etc.

3. 1/400 Hatches from GMM, includes fire hoses. hatches also available from Tauro

4. 1/400 twin 40mm from L'Arsenal

5. 1/400 single 20mm from L'Arsenal

6. 1/400 Tauro small components-gear wheels, hatch covers,etc.

You will need to create PE radar set. I think it can be done by purchasing PE mesh and creating from there. Otherwise, there is the GMM 1/400 naval set. But that includes a lot of stuff not needed on the Richelieu.

Do not know if cable reels or fire hoses are exposed on this model. Presume so as this ship was refitted in the US.

Other small stuff, conduit piping, junction boxes, etc.can be scratchdone with thin wire and sheet plastic.

But wait, just hold on for a few. L'Arsenal reported they are on the verge of releasing the Richelieu update for a late war build-as in Heller's kit.

Here is another question concerning Hellers Richelieu BB.  Since no 1/400 PE kits are available

for the Richelieu, are 1/350 PE kits compatabile, and if so,  which ones will work best?  Does

anybody out there who has built this kit have any good/bad comments to make about it?

Thank you Mr. Snyder for your answer to my first question concerning the Richelieu.
