Sorry to hear about your lost parts. If you have put a lot of work into the kit do not panic you may still have options. You could build up the ship in the 'ordinary' configuration with a building structure on the top deck. For some time the constitution was used in this configuration as part of a naval training school and I have seen pictures of it in this way. A second option would to look on e-bay for a semi-constructed kit that you could pull the parts from. The third option would be to look for mast sets for similar scale, and configuration ships designed for paper, wood or plastic ship kits. You will likely have to do considerable scratch building on the masts and spars to make them look right, but it is possible to do if you have good references. The final option would be to completely scratch build them. I do remember a thread on this forum where a member built his own lathe with a dremel tool, a couple clamps and some angle iron. (make sure you wear proper safety glasses) I hope someone can help you out with parts from an abandoned kit.

Ok I know this is probably the most inconvenient way possible to go about this, but about a week ago I left a post saying I lost all the mast pieces to my Constitution, and someone said they had an extra kit they could spare the parts from.  CALLING THAT PERSON(S)! I finally got my internet fixed (My college connection is useless) and saw all of the replies to my post.  Unfortunatly I called Revell, and since the box was throw out as well and the reciept, they couldnt give me the spares.  My email is ajssurg25@yahoo.com and I will GLADLY...OOOOH SO GLADLY...pay for any shipping charges so please contact me.  As of last week I thought I was doomed and have 1.5 years of work down the drain so this is an enourmous releif.  Thanks alot guys I knew this forum would save my a$$ in the ship modeling world sooner or later :-)
