Type VIIC...

first kit released was early war to mid war version.  It included some different options for conning tower vents (top versus side), use of the bow net cutter, and extended radio antenna housing on tower side.

the later released kit is the mid to late war Type VII...it includes a modified hull at the bow (Atlantik bow), different deck, including life raft cannisters, schnorkel well, and modified conning tower which had the extended wintergarten, schnorkel,  "mattress antenna", and armament.  no net cutter included with this one....

Quidquid latine dictum sit, altum sonatur :)
