                        hello:

                        I have a soldier who looked thru some issue of fine scale modeler, I happen to have with me, and saw the article on uss pittsburg from d&e min of va. I check his website, he seems to be focused on r/c more then static. Does any know if he stills carries this model, and if not does any one have one, they would be intrested in donating or selling  please contact me at bruce.wheeler1@us.army.mil

                        Perhaps you are thinking of J&D Productions, Don Preul's company.   They offer several types of submarine kits in 1/192,  Here is the webpage:
