What scale are you interested in?   The Revell 1:700 kit (also boxed under the Matchbox label) is perhaps the worst ship kit Revell ever made.  The odd 1:426 scale kit can be made into a very nice representation with some work and photoetch details.  But there are no other 1:426 scale Peral Harbor battleship kits.

There are also few, if any, other plastic Pearl Harbor battleship kits in any scale.   The other ships didn't get the press that the Arizona did.   Most were raised and repaired and went on to fight the rest of the war in relative obscurity.

Most of the Pearl Harbor battleships are available in resin, either in 1:350 scale from Iron Shipwright

http://www.commanderseries.com/

or from HP Models in 1:700 scale.

Check the vendors at sites such as SteelNavy http://www.steelnavy.com/ or modelwarships for more information as to where these kits are available.

For a good selection of battleships at Pearl Harbor 1/700 would be the most easily collected scale. 1/350 would certainly be spectacular and there are quite a few of them out there. In addition to the Iron Shipwright kits there are those from Yankee Modelworks (California & Tennessee) in resin and the plastic kit from Banner/Minihobby of the Arizona which is similar to the Revel 1/426 kit, just larger. As to 1/700: Arizona is available from Revell (a really terrible kit), Banner/Minihobby (also pretty bad) Dragon Models (excellent kit) and for resin from Hi-Mold and H-P Models. The Dragon kit is the best buy of the bunch. Pennsylvania is not yet available in plastic, there was a Revell kit but it was a re-boxed Arizona and not accurate for Pennsylvania, a proposed kit for Pennsylvania is on the to do list from Dragon but will probably be a later war configuration, in resin there is a later war configuration from H-P Models, at one time Classic Warships made a Pearl Harbor configuration but that is OOP, however, that may be reissued at some time in the future under the new owners of the molds. As for Oklahoma and Nevada nothing in plastic but in resin there are kits from H-P Models and the possibility of a future re-issue from Classic Warships as above. California, Tennessee, Maryland and West Virginia are not available in plastic, however, truly excellent kits of these ships are available from the Japanese company Hi-Mold, they are expensive but exquisite jewels. H-P Models makes versions of their rebuilt later war configurations (Maryland is not yet in production but Colorado is) and once again there is the possibility of reissue from the new owners of Classic Warships molds of both the Pearl Harbor fit and the later fit for these ships. As to the old battleship Utah, a target ship at Pearl Harbor , I am not aware of any kit being done for her. Other USN battleships are availble from the time period in 1/700 scale.

Thanks for replies. Hopefully those battleships will be avaible in the future so i can make them.  Im more interesting between 1/700 to 1/426  since dont have enough room to put 350 scale in my townhouse smiles.  Someday i will.

While it is possible to convert one of your Arizonas to Pennsylvania I would say that you would be better off scratchbuilding the rest of the Pearl Harbor veterans rather than trying to convert them from an Arizona kit.

agree with converting a revel arizona to pennsylvania. suspect the biggest add-on would be the four 1.1" aa guns which had not been installed on arizona at the time of the attack. gun tubs were in place, just no guns. not sure what other differences there were off the top of my head.

The major difference that you will have to deal with is the forward superstructure. Pennsylvania was built as a flagship and had a different superstructure than Arizona. There was also a difference in the boat cranes and some additional changes. At least the majority of the parts in the Arizona models are useful for doing the Pennsylvania. All the others had major differences. Nevada and Oklahoma had different hull sizes and shapes as well as superstructure and main armament differences and the others shared almost nothing in common.
