                        Any difference between the Tamiya and Academy kits?....one better then the other?

                        I'm no expert but I've been told to stay away from the Academy ones.
                        No matter where you go ....... there you are.

                        Review of the Academy Bismarck kit, which bar one sprue, is the same:

                        I have seen photo's of Academy ships that have been made up OK, but have never tried one myself. If it were me, I would pay the bit extra & have the Tamiya. It won't disappoint.
