Trumpeter 1/350 BB-55 North Carolina

Just finished it with the Yankee Modelworks PE set. Enjoyed the build immensely. Only significant issue for me was the Oerlikon cannons, but the PE dealt with that.

BTW, can't praise the quality of the PE set enough. I particularly appreciated the pre-measured railings, which sped the completion.

So far I have only seen in box reviews of this kit at SteelNavy.com and modelwarships.com. Both were favorable but did not compare parts to plans. Both seemed to like the idea that the decks were laid out in a manner that made painting easier. WS
