I just came across this at the L'Arsenal (France) website - a model of the modern Zeven Provinces-class of the Royal Netherlands Navy

http://www.larsenal.com/GB/indexgb.php

It is 1:350 scale, resin and brass

Ed grune, were looking for the wwII cruiser, my friend served aboard @1953. but the same ships were involved in the war itself according to my research she traded hands a few times. I think you've got the right ship, im going to check the sites you recommended. thanks for your help its very appreciated.

Just a quick question.... I've got a friend who has served on a ship in the dutch navy and has been looking for her in kit form but to no avail..... can anyone help us? The ships name is "DE ZEVEN PROVINCIEN" she was a light cruiser her sister ship was "de ruyter" scale is not a factor as of yet. any help would be greatly appreciated thanks in advance. mark

What time period?

HP Models makes a WWII DeRuyter light cruiser in 1:700 scale.   HP Models kits are resin only - no PE.  They are generally well done.    In the States, HP Models are available through Pacific Front Hobbies and several other online stores.

The Zeven Provincien is the lead ship of a modern Dutch Navy's class of air defence destroyers.  The DeRuyter is a member of that class.   I am not aware of a model of the modern destroyer-type ship.

Find out what class of ship it is,not just the type. That should help in finding a kit if one is available.
