That is why these modeling forums are far and away my favorite place to hang out.  There are so many fantastic people out there willing to lend a hand, a spare part, advice, decals, tracks and even just moral support.  Smile [:)]

A Titanic sized THANK YOU
Posted by Bullet21 on Friday, November 24, 2006 1:11 PM

I would like to post a very big THANK YOU to Kenny Conklin.

Awhile back I posted a request for any help in locating a set of instructions for a 1/350 Academy kit of the RMS Titanic. Not only did this fine gentleman open up his kit to get them, but also photo-copied them AND sent them to me, all the while rejecting all my offers to pay him for his trouble.

Since I started "getting back into it" a couple years back I have found this magazine and it's site to be invaluable, and the forum section is fantastic. Whenever I encounter a problem help seems to be just a post away, and people like Kenny are ready to help.

I believe in giving credit when & where it is due, so once again I would like to say "Thank you very much" to Mr. Kenny Conklin. Bow [bow]

Regards

Dennis Kelly
