                        Has anyone started constructioin on this kit yet?  I just started it, in assembly step #3 Bow Assembly you have to put together the top/bottom vent cap and instal it into the bow assembly.  Since the holes in the bow are cut out (open) should this vent cap assembly not be painted (black/grey) before being installed?  The instructions don't indicate painting it?

                          What they're calling the "vent cap" is actually the free flood area between the top of the torpedo tubes and the Bow buoyancy tank. Black, or the same color as the deck, is good..
