Disco Volante model

The Disco Volante was the evil Largo's yacht in the classic James Bond movie "Thunderball".  I was wondering if Aurora or somebody ever produced a plastic kit version of the ship?  Did Hasbro or someone ever release a toy version?

Don't know of any kits, but check out this link to a site for modelers of RC hydrofoils http://www.foils.org/modelrc.htm.  Someone there was looking to so the same thing.

What you need to do, is research plans for the PT-20 Hydrofoil designed and built by the Rodriquez ship builders in Italy.

The Disco Volante used the PT-20 hydrofoil as a base, and then added the pop off stern section to fill out the "yacht", and meet the requirements for the movie.  I read somewhere that when they created the explosion and destruction of the Disco Volante, they blew out a lot of windows of near by homes and businesses.Tongue [:P]

There is a plastic matchbox type toy that used to be produced. it pops up on e-bay now and then.
