Varyag= yag-yag

A few years ago when Varyag (1/350-zvesda) first came out I got one and knowing there was no photoetch for it I decided to clean out the p.e. spares bin.  Stuff like ladders from a KGV, generic 1/350 railing, doors-hatches etc.  Of course after waiting in the "to build" stack there is now all the p.e. by GMM, white ensign etc. that I could wish for Dead [xx(]  the plan is however in progress and along with some scratch building the odd p.e. is working well.  I am seeking a way to connect the rigging in a way other than my usuall thred to yardarm with a dot of super glue.  I suppose I could punch out small disks with the waldron punch to make pulleys, but man thats a lot of punchin'!!!!!!   Anybody got any easier solution?    I'm using russian armor green (yeah I know, but I got lots of it Wink [;)] ) for the hull bottom and the rest (except deck) is mostly flat white,  even primed first white takes a bunch of coats. It and yellow are the pits. I feel like I should get a 5 gal. bucket of ceiling white from wal-martThumbs Down [tdn]    Ah well, that's my ranting......  any help with rigging ideas is appriciated
