If you go to the Italeri home page you will find a preview of the 80' Elco.

Looks pretty good.  Mixed media.  Possibilities for R/C.

Review with sprue shots here

http://www.kitsreview.com/modules/news/article.php?storyid=27

Its in Italian - so you may need to pump the site through a translator program such as Babelfish or Prompt.  The sprue shots look very good

I would have posted a picture or two,  but they are marked with copyright  and I wasn't sure about all the legal stuff

Well that was entertaining for the translation alone.  That's my first experience with Bablefish.

In summary....

They like the kit.

A person of any skill level can build it.

This kit looks like it could attract a lot of aftermarket upgrades.  Can't wait to see it all come around.

This would be a kit that will go to my workbench as soon as it get out and in a diorama, I modified a 1/32 scale Limberg RC kit in to a gunboat version some time ago but as said in 1/32 scale so it stays as a stand alone display piece. Hope this model come out soon!!!!!

Sprue shots look very good.  No need to Babel Fish; there's a flag at the bottom for the in situ English translation.

Would have been nice to include some of the crew for those that wanted them, maybe they will issue them seperately
