I would like to order spareparts; where is this re-issue made, Revell Germany or US?

Thanks, Max.

In my youth I've tried to do this model twice, once while in High School and another time in College.   Two incomplete, derelict Cutty Sark hulks now litter my parent's basement.   Perhaps thrid time would be a charm.

Well Mike , I just bought a 1974 kit on ebay for $40 bucks as well.............but I would wait to see what the molds are like from some reviews of the new kit..........your older kit may be better!!!!!!!!

I suspect that you will be able to get the new kit through 2007 anyway.

You are right Wilbur.

I will wait and see what happens.

Mine is from the 60's so the molds, logically should be better.

I was just notified by Tower Hobbies that the Cutty Sark was in stock and did I want to order it?  Of course I said yes, and completed the purchase.  I should get it next week and will let the forum know what it looks like.

I'm interested too to see if any changes have been made.  RM's Customer Service told me that it would not be available until Feb 07, so this is an unexpected Christmas Present.  I will try to get some pictures when it arrives.

Photos would be most appreciated. I am considering ordering a copy (model $59,- . Postage to Holland $50,-  !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!), and I would like to hear if it is a neat copy or a flash ridden monstrosity like the Kearsarge I bought Smile,Wink, & Grin [swg]

Thanks, Max.

Run a search on the Greatmodels homepage for : RMX0325 CUTTY SARK CLIPPER SHIP. You'll find it then.
