Imai Napoleon kit problem
Posted by Papillon on Monday, December 18, 2006 4:14 PM

I have the Napoleon kit but it has a problem: the port-side hull half has a moulding/ casting failure, a part of the stern & rudder is missing. It is a moulding fault, not broken off. For somebody having the unbuilt kit, it is quite easy to make a silicone or clay (like Fimo) mould of that part (within white lines & with some overlap) on the port hull-half, lying flat on a table. From the starbord hull-half the head of the figurehead is broken off and lost, a mould is made in the same way. From these moulds I can cast resin parts for repairing my hull parts. I 'beg' you to do this for me, I would be grateful for your help and I'm willing to pay for the costs. Please PM me if interested and I will send a picture of the damage on the Imai Napoleon port-side hull half.

Max.
