                        Actually in 1/1 scale ships the flag is not attached directly to the mast but to a halyard (also known as a line). What I have done re. flags on the several 1/350th scale ships I have built is to use some very fine black nylon thread and fold the flag decal over the thread. When dry, attach one end of the thread to the top of the mast (after cutting it to fit) with a very small dab of super blue and the other to the base of the mast.

                        Hi all,
                        i'm building a 1:350 scale model of the above ship,the Stars & Stripes flag is a decal,my problem is as decals are fragile,how do i attatch the decal to the mast?
