By the way, on that site, check out the great color picture of the Bennington, T2-S-A1, a Keystone tanker. She looks like she is still in the classic T-2 configuration. I might shift my next T-2 build to that instead of the Amoco New York.

Yes, Merry Christmas to all and enjoy the winter solstice! I love these dark times ( call me weird ) It makes good model building weather. What's your latitude up there Hasse? 60N? I used to work in Anchorage Alaska in the winter. 5 hours of daylight and never gets above 20 F. Lovely!

Fred,

Thanks for providiing the link.  I just took a quick look, and it looks great!  Even found a photo of the Mission Capistrano.  I also just found my Wiswesser T-2 drawing.  I'm going to take some time to look around that site later tonight.

I got my PE WT doors on the Mission and I'm at a stage to paint, hopefully this weekend.  Will get some pix up soon.

 All the best...and happy holidays!

I just found a great site for those interested in U.S. merchant ship types. The gallery has some great pictures of different types, including the ships in their military transport livery and their subsequent civilian forms. Color pictures! Hasse and KP80, you should check this out if you haven't already.
