The show was about task force Taffy 3's(4 tin cans) heroic defense of Leyte, against a disparate enemy force. The ad errantly referred battleship Yamato as Yamamoto, the I.J.N's best admiral/stratogist.

No, darnit - things were going nuts at my house and I barely got to turn on the TV all week.  And I was hoping for something like that, too - evey time I tuned in, they were doing either F-100s or Phantoms.  What exactly were they talking about the Yamato for - a ship-to-ship 'dogfight' or something else?

Did anybody catch History channel's ad for thier show dogfights last week?.  Over a CG img of the ship, an anouncer says, "Japan had the worlds biggest battleship the Yamamoto." They corrected it about mid-week, but I had a giggle their for a couple of days.
