Tamiya 1/350 CVN - 65 PE

Hey all my forst post in the ship forums . Have a question for you all. I am in the In My Stash GB and the model that was chosen for me was my Enterprise. I know GMM has PE for this kit which i ordered.

Does anyone know of any other updates or pe for this kit. I have seen other builds and the aircraft gave clear canopies does anyone know if this is AM or scratchbuilt?

And also if anyone knows good reference materials for this kit .

Thank you all for your time and help it is greatly appreciated.

I recall a discussion on the clear canopy subject earlier in this forum. I believe the aircraft themselves are molded in clear styrene. I am not sure as to what manufacturer supplies these particular pieces.

I'm from the government and I'm here to help.

The aircraft are molded in grey styrene.  The additional GMM set which is somewhat recent is for the elevator platforms. That set is an additional $32, and probably worth it.

Kenny I think you have to decide what year of the ship you will model as there have been many changes which you will have to research............... since the original release of the kit, and or the original GMM set.

In any case you can't lose out in building this kit.
