You have to say that they're 100% partial kits, though, or nobody will want them.

Hey, I got leftovers of two academy 1/72 wildcats and half a fret of P.E. Wonder if I could get twenty bucks plus s&h for that stuff.

What's even scarier is the fact that 4 people bid on it! $20! We may be onto something! Quick, get your scrap parts together!

I have no words. So if we got 4 wheels in the garage (example), that means we have a car 100% guaranteed? ? 4 wheels only?!?

interesting...

I always like the descriptions that say "box is still factory sealed in the original shrink wrap" but you look at the picture and the box is open with all the parts laid out for you to see. And almost every model ship I find there is labeled as a "battleship"

Oh the reason the shipping is $9.75 is so he can make more money at the end of the deal. Anytime I win someting on ebay if they states SHIPPING & HANDLING there not much you can do. but if it's just shipping that constitutes fraud and I let them know. I also check the finished shipped price on the postage labled package.

All you have to do now is find an auction for an Aurora Wanderer Whaler hull (or "ship body," if you prefer -- search both) and you're all set.

And why, pray tell, is shipping $9.75?

I'm preparing to auction off a similar kit. It is apparently completely there, except it is missing the box, the pieces, the instructions and the decals. But the rigging is 100% fully guaranteed to be there! Shipping will be $10.50 extra.

Sometimes you just gotta love a persons decription of the models on ebay and that they actually expect to sell it. Here is a listing for an Aurora Wanderer Whaler that I found.

"This is a super kit!!! CONTENTS appear to be mint and unused and 100% complete BESIDES MISSING THE BOAT BODY ITSELF! Otherwise, I am 100% guaranteeing that it is 100% complete. Decals, instructions, strings, plastic sails, etc, etc, etc. BOX measures 23" wide. Lid has a couple split corners and minor other damage." Dead [xx(]Disapprove [V]Dead [xx(]
