HMS Prince 1670

Good morning

I've been watching an MPC kit of HMS Prince on Ebay.  I haven't been able to find any record of this kit and wonder if it is a repeat of the Airfix model?

Thanks

If it's MPC - yes.  And the Airfix/MPC kit is an excellent one.  Beware, though, of the alleged H.M.S. Prince sold by UPC.  That one is a hilarious travesty, based on parts borrowed from the Revell H.M.S. Victory.

Thanks

Yes the box clearly says MPC so I'll probably go ahead and bid.

Do you happen to know the scale?

Out of my head it should be around 1/150. I think - but could well be wrong here - that on one release it said 1/144 on the box.

that sounds about right - though frankly I've quit trusting the scales stated on boxes of styrene sailing ship kits.  They seem to be wrong at least half the time.
