Discovery needs to find the Indianapolis.

Many years ago I was converting the Airfix 1/600th Bismarck into a diorama of the wreck using Robert Ballard's book, but lost interest on the project & scrapped it. (The Airfix kit is probably the worst ever model of the Bismarck. It has a poor hull shape & burying it in the mud of the sea bed seemed a good way to fix the problem)

On a side note, I don't think that the wreck of the Musashi has ever been found. I read on some site that it lies in deep water. Hopefully National Geographic/ Discovery will go looking for it one day. Be nice if they had another look for the Indianapolis too. They failed to find her a few years back when they tried.

It is a nice model, but I bet that US Naval aircraft have left the real Musahi wreck a lot more battered.
