Greetings. Welcome to the forums. You have chosen an excellent subject for your first model. I myself want to make a diarama with all three Columbus' ships in future, when I'll be more experienced.

To post images here, you have first upload them to, say, free image hosting like photobasket or http://www.freeimagehosting.net/ or some other, and then post links to pictures, directly or through interface. I would be very interested in your pictures, as also in your opinion on quality of a kit and plans. I'm working with plastic models and metal, since I don't really like to work with wood, but it may be useful for future references.

As for English, I myself is not a native speaker, so I wouldn't see your mistakes anyway. :)

Hello

To start I will present myself. I'm Bernard Imschoot and I live in Belgium. I've got no experience with modeling, this is my first project. It's the Santa Maria, the famous ship of Christophorus Colombus. The well-known explorer who was the first to discover America...after the vikings.

I started with this kit several months ago and so far everything is going pretty well.

Bernabeus

P.S. How do I post images? And could you please correct my English when I make big mistakes. I'm only 16 and still going to school.
