What 1/350th WWII US Ships Available in Styrene?

Yeah tiger I'd love to see the Nevada or Oklahoma
A kit of some of the firefighting tugs would be great too.
I love the 1/350 ships but for dioramas I'm gonna have to go with 1/700 if I ever get around to building battleship row at pearl harbor Tongue [:P]

It would be nice if Trumpeter came out with a Pearl Harbor BB that wasn't the Arizona. Cool [8D]

I'll be travelling to the BADLANDS sometime around April-May of next year...

Course, I'm trying to get to the Trantor's Creek Battlesite sometime around January to do some exporing. That project is well underway from what I hear.

Too bad the Texas isn't on the list. I respect that you can't tell us "what" is coming but can you tell us "when" you can make the announcements? I'll want to be sure to be here when you give the news.. :-)

As far as I can tell, ICM is gone...their website is down, emails are getting bounced.

With Trumpeter being as aggressive as they are, don't be surprised if you start seeing some VERY interesting subject matter from them.

ICM was about to realease the 1:350 HMS HOOD and IJN TAKAO heavy cruiser and her sister ship, some modelers say these kits from ICM will never get to US market. So, i realy don't know what will happen.

But....I can say that Texas isn't one of them, sorry.

These new subjects will move off the shelves a littler 'faster' than the olde Texas did. If I told you, I'd get deported to the BADLANDS, for sure. Either that, or I'd end up on the dead end of the stick, kinda like Col. George Singletary at the Battle of Trantor's Creek in 1862!!

I am not sure the Modelcraft Wisconsin is WWII configuration. I think it is Desert Storm time period.

Jeff, what is the quality of the Modelcraft Wisconsin?

Does the kit contain all the different guns that she had from what Missouri had?

there are also these available in Styrene

Italian R.N. Pola Heavy Cruiser 1:350 by Minihobby Models
(sunk in 1941 by the british}

and the U.S.S. Wisconsin BB-64 1:350 by Modelcraft.

I do most of my shopping online at megahobby.com and found these. Don't know if these kits are as well made as the Tamiya. Perhaps some others here will know.

I think you are referring to the 1/700th scale one. They did a WWII Hornet in that scale too.

Tamiya 's Enterprise is CVN-65. Was only built in 1960.

The WWII Enterprise CV-6 was decommissioned in 1947.

technically, the version that Tamiya has is 1944+ refit, but there were 4 other versions prior to the 1944 refit unless I missed a refit or two..
