I've just finished building the Monsters in Motion resin Seaview. Pretty cool kit. Now that I've painted the topside primer gray and the bottom a light gray, both per the instruction sheet, I'm looking for some help in weathering my sub-what to weather, where to weather and lastly, how to.. I've built some ship models before but have never weathered any of them. So, any info I can get on how to weather (without an airbrush) would be really appreciated.
I'm from the government and I'm here to help.
on the perfect look never any wear or dirt
btw any photos
also if you don't have it already the flying sub model will go good with it
ok how about the original movie
starring walter pigeon and peter lorrie
i think it was made in 61 or 62
the design of the sub reminded me of the 58 -62 era of cars sharp lines w/ BIG pointed fins in the back
Thanks to all for the info.. Not looking to go crazy on weathering- just a little bit here or there. I'll post some pics in a bit.. I do have the flying sub, too; but painting the blue trim on the fins over the yellow paint is giving fits..
