You are refering to SS238 which is a Gato.  There isn't a kit of her to my knowledge, but there is a conversion for her in 1/144 from Nautilus.  They also have the extra goodies like torpedos and deck guns.

USS WAHOO (SS 238) was a GATO class.  Best bet would be to get one of the Revell 1"72 scale GATO's.  There are some aftermarket parts for the kit, with more being released each week (or so it seems).

Does anyone know what class of submarine the USS Wahoo commanded by Mush Moton was. Also, what is a good repreantation of this sub. If there is not a kit of this sub, are there any after market details to iimprove a standard kit. Thanks in advance.
