Sad news indeed, it is to be hoped that restoration is still possible, but no doubt a lot of original parts of the hull structure have been lost.
It is fortunate that at least the superstructure and deck fittings had been removed, I was surprised to see these sitting on the dockside at the Chatham Naval dockyard when I visited earlier this year.
As an aside if you get the opportunity to visit Chatham, it is well worth the effort. The Ropewalk tour alone is a superb experience.
