Making me work, huh James?? :-)
Fletcher carried a variety of 20mm and 40mm depending upon what ship and what time period...
So...early war Fletchers carried 1 Mk1 40mm, located between turrets 3 and 4. They added one to the fantail as an interim measure, but these were replaced rather quickly when the forward tub 20mm were replaced with 40mm Mk1. All Fletchers eventually got a pair of Mk 1 (twin) 40mm on either side of the aft funnel, and some received Emergency AA fits and replaced the Mk1 with Mk2 Quad 40mm, landing the forward torpedo tubes to offset the weight and add a location for the Fire Control Director platform.
Early war, Fletchers carried 2 20mm in the forward tubs, and 4 amidships, with 3 on the fantail. Later, the forward 20s were replaced with 40s. Most kept 2 or 3 20mm on the fantail, and the Emergency AA fit ships (the quad 40mm) were fitted with twin 20mm mounts, bringing the potential total to 14.
Fletchers typically carried 4 floater net baskets, 2 along the aft deckhouse, and 2 alongside the forward funnel platform.
Tamiya Missouri carries Mk2 40mm with shields, your total is 20. 20mm for
Missouri is 47 as of mid-1945. You'll have to refer to books for the floater net baskets, but I can look into it.
Hornet carried 16 1.1inch AA guns (no 40mm), 32 20mm, and 24 .50cal MG. Floater net baskets are the same...I can't find any visible above decks in the photos and books I have...
Hope this all helps.
