Yamato shell plating
Posted by Chuck Fan on Tuesday, May 29, 2007 11:43 AM

I am trying to accurize Tamiya's 1/350 scale Yamato.   Skulski indicated that at bow and stern the shell platings were joined edge to edge for smoothness and low friction resistence, and in the midship region the plates overlapped at the joints for strength.   But he does not indicate exactly where the section with overlapping joints starts and ends.   Does anyone know or have some ideas about what references may have this information?
