1/72 scale Fletcher class !

Pat Scharr's 1/72nd scale Gearing

 And just for the heck of it, my 1/72nd scale Maestrale Class Scirocco, and Capaitani Romani Class Atillo Regolo.

I was a bit skeptical myself, my suspicions being confirmed upon viewing the date at the bottom. Good one, though, I must admit. Pevell??

To turn it into a Gearing, would only require you to rebuild it from the keel up. Wrong screws, wrong rudders, wrong hull shape, wrong superstructure, wrong guns... and on and on.

  I love it! You could always go for the old Lindberg destroyer. It's huge, I forgit the scale, but it requires scratch building help to look good.

My first response was "bastages!!!!"  After I spent all this cash on the 1/300 Flether! 

Seriously though, a 1/72 Destroyer Escort such as USS England would be awesome!  Are you listening Revell?  Trumpeter?
