Constitution Tricks?
Posted by Big Ole Bob on Tuesday, June 5, 2007 3:07 PM

Current model 1/96 Revell U.S.S. Constitution

I'm just about done most of the hull work on this critter and I'm about to head into the mast's and rigging. However I know there are some tricks and tips on doing mastwork.

for example a lot of people put on footropes and other unattached elements (to the deck that is) to the masts before they are even mounted into the body

I've noticed that there were no group-builds of the constitution and seemingly no accumulated posting of the tricks & tips used for first time builders. I've had to browse this forum for quite some time to pick up what little I have. None the less The info I've accumulated from here is extremely usefull.

So in short. Any pointers for the mastwork? .. and perhaps just as well. Any pointers for those who are just starting the Revell Constitution? Thing such as metal eyebolts, differnt threads etc. Nothing controversial such as paint colors and such but the straight forward Guts of information.

If you can think it. Then someone has else has also thought of it. Then someone else has tried it. Then someone else tried and completed it. Then someone else tried and proved it CANT BE DONE!
