Perry-class Frigates --- sure are! IIRC they are called the Adelaide-class down there. In 1:700 scale PitRoad made a styrene Perry, with decals for the Adelaides. Also, IIRC, Revell of Germany repopped the kit. |

I believe this was the basis for the Dragon kit which gives you the option of a full hull or waterline model.

In an odd-ball scale mix Scalecraft " border="0" width="15" height="15" /> made a styrene Perry which is reported to be (according to the box) in 1:300 scale. It is labeled as the Gallery. The trouble with the kit is that while the hull is in 1:300 scale the superstructure is closer to 1:350 scale. It is a bathtub toy for sure. There is no aftermarket support for such a bastard scale mismash. |

I am almost sure that this kit is also available under the "CC Lee" label. Either way, Ed is right - pretty much a bathtub toy - it even has a motor
If you want to go a bit earlier than present RAN, Dragon also has the Adams Class DDG's in 1/700, from which you could model Perth (38), Hobart (39) or Brisbane (41).
If you want to try one of the support vessels, you could possibly use the (resin) 1/700 Newport Class LST (JAG Collective) to bash HMAS Manoora (ex USN LST-1193 Fairfax County) or HMAS Kanimbla (ex USN LST-1188 Saginaw) (though I believe there have been rather extensive mods done)
