U-Boat Tamiya paint questions

I hear, ya. My son, little peewee junior, just gradudated from the community college one quarter earlier than expected. He is now scrambling to get admitted into the University of Washington for the fall quarter instead of the winter quarter as per the original plan. He had learned this past Tuesday that he had enough credits to grad which placed him last minute into the commencement excercise 4 days later.

If you can do it thanks for the step by step. I have a German Uboat U99 and the Kursk so I may try to follow your progress with one or the other.

Could you photograph the process? I am thinking of building the Zvezda ZVE9007 Kursk nuke sub is why I ask and I got a Dragon weathering kit but to date I have never weathered anything before. Except for my head when I am at the beach just prior to a hurricane.

For my U-boat, I used Testors Dark Aircraft Grey for the upper uboat and aircraft grey for the lower. Can't help you with the wood. Your colors sound good.
