Painting the HMS Eagle (Fujimi 1/700)

First, I am an experienced modeller, just dabbling a bit in naval subjects lately...

What color would this ship be painted? The Fujimi instructions are ALL in Japanese, of which I cannot read a word. Based on photos I've seen of British warships postwar, I'm guessing some sort of light gray? My main problem, however, are the decks. What color should this be?? Based on one picture (an artist's rendition) it appears dark gray...in others it appears to be two-tone. Anyone have any info on this???

There doesn't seem to be much information out there and colour photos are very rare.

Japanese instructions usually give paint colour numbers often, in my experience, in Gunze's codes, is there no such indication?

Unfortunately, no. I'm sure the Kanji is saying "Gray" and "Black" as well, I'm assuming...

If you can scan and post an image of the painting page I might be able to advise you further.
