Excellent!

Thanks alot,  now I can get started.  Much appreciated.  One more question....what would be a good substitute for the modern Haze Gray as I would like to use Polly scale paints and modern Haze gray is unavailable with that FS#?

Well,  MM Neutral Gray is 36270  (flat vs satin).

Its modern Haze Gray (26270) with dark gray (I prefer Gunship Gray) decks.

Deck blue went away when the purple-blue hues were phased out in 1945

Gearing Class Destroyer FRAM conversion question?
Posted by baycolony on Sunday, June 17, 2007 10:51 AM
I am currently preparing to build the Commander Series 1/350 scale USS Johnston FRAM Gearing class Destroyer kit and converting it to the USS Joseph P. Kennedy Jr. The question is...is the color scheme post FRAM modern haze gray verticals and modern dark deck gray or is it measure 13 which most post war ships became....haze gray verticals and mod. deck blue decking? Can't seem to find anything definative Thanks.
