i am looking at the ticonderoga and the spuance  in 1/700th

would anyone help me here? am i looking at something worth buying, or is are they just a waste of the oil used to make the plastic?

The Skywave kits are better but I don't know that I would categorize the Minicraft kits as a waste of the plastic to make them. Both will benefit from a good PE application. WS

 and i should have explained my thoughts here.  a few yrs ago i bought a minicraft janpanese destroyer ( don't recall the name of the ship though) and it's deck was smooth and void of all detail.
