The only and probably last ship kit I have. Arromanches kit by Heller in 1/400.  I need better aircraft, and some Am stuff for it though.  These ship kits are just too darn small for me.  Although they are cool when complete, I just don't think it to be my cup of tea.  the very first kit i ever built was a kit of the USS North Carolina by Revell back in 1969 with my dad helping me alot.  I was only 4 or5 at the time.  I usually say the old monogram patton because that was my true first build, but I got my start on Ships.
In space, no one can hear you scream. Except the people on the ship with you. Oh, and the Alien.

I put the 1/72 VIIC/41 on the back burner for work on a 1/32 Thud for the Mig Killer group build but may find a little time this weekend to spray a coat of paint on it.

In the queue is- two more 1/72 VIIC's, the Gato, Schnellboat, E-boat. In 1/350 there's the Bismark with all the White Ensign PE sets, and the Arizona.

Only three ships at the moment, oddly enough.

Two from Loose Cannon Productions, the 1/700 Haskell-class attack transport, which I am going to attempt to paint in a dazzle scheme; and the 1/700 USCGC Eastwind icebreaker, where I will have a go at modeling ice in still water.

Plus a Tamiya 1/700 1-58 (late) that is going to, someday, be paired with a 1/700 Indianapolis.

Now as far as airplanes go ...

When I finish the HMCS Snowberry.............. Cutty Sark next ....along with......Tamiya Fletcher class with GMM...In the future.....Revell QM2 with GMM p/e...............Tamiya Famo and Trailer, Dragon Wagon and Trailer..........Revell Oil Platform.......

350th Liberty ship with GMM,......... 1/35 LCM with D-Day figures.

Of course this could take five years and space is definitely running out. I do however want to make a display case for all my Cunard Liners.......Lusitania.....QEII......and QM2 (when finished) so I may get to the QM2 before those great Tamiya masterpieces. I've never had a stash of more than 10 pieces or so.

Most of all though enjoy it. If you get frustrated as we all do...take a couple of days or even a week off. It works!

More than I think that I will ever get around to sadly.

Currently working slowly on Tamiya's 1/350th POW & ICM's 1/350th Konig.

Awaiting their turn are Trumpeters 1/350th Essex & Hood, Tamiya's 1/350th Bismarck & Missouri, Hasegawas Mikasa, Dragon's 1/700th Arizona,Tirpitz, HMS York, Revell's 1/72nd U Boat & about half a dozen Airfix ships. Good thing that I am a slow builder as, I don't have the space to display them.

Also have around another 70 non floaty things in the stash, with no space for them eitherSigh [sigh]

MUST stop buying model kits!

Model Shipways' Kate Cory.1:700 Randolph, and Lowry.       Revell's USS Constitution. A kitbash of another Lindberg North Atlantic Fishing Trawler. A 1:96 scale Sea Witch, based on the Marx hull, and scratchbuilt from the deck up. 1:87, and 1:64, plank on frame whaleboats for the Kate Cory and the Wanderer. Another 1:87 GCLaser waterline kit of a 38' power boat, and 42 pages of HO, HOn3, N, and On30 railroad projects.Oh, and maybe some 1:35 scale military. Will I get them all done?......only if I live forever!

How many kits I have left to build?

I'm afraid to count.

I have at least  a half dozen I'm building on right now.

After the 1/700 A140A kitbash, it's Tamiya's 1/700 Scharnhorst. And then MAYBE MAYBE a 1/70 Richeleiu or a 1/700 Courageous battlecruiser if they ever come up with one. And then it's back to cars.

O wait-eventually I have to do a 1/700 Alaska as well.
