I'm not laughing.  I picked up the Robert E. Lee a few years ago in a trade.  I built a couple of them as a kid along with the Revell 1/96th sailing ships that I would sell to people for not much more than they cost.  My parents were never happy about that so I built them a Constitution is full sail.

Built the Robert E. Lee kit about 3 years ago. Don't remember  who manufactured it, maybe Pyro. It's been around forever and still available on ebay. If your carefull it can be a beautiful model. Looks great in our den.  modelbob@hotmail.com

My brother built the Monitor & Merrimac, too, years ago.

Battleaxe now has a Monitor, but I don't know of anyone with a Merrimac, unless you want a Bluejacket wooden model kit.

LOL!

Ok. I was just thinking the other day if anyone had built the Robert E Lee steamboat. Or the Monitor or the Merrimack.  I built all three when I was a kid. Do those kits still exist?
