I just received some aftermarket samples from Paper Labs that are perfect for this kit.  They are the 1.1 inch quad machine canon and torpedo tubes.  They use 3D printers to create masters and the detail from this method is just unbelieveable in this scale.  He has also made some very nice directors, search lights, ammo lockers, scuttle hatches, etc. that are just magnificent.  They are cast in resin and white metal and I have to tell you the white metal castings are like nothing I've ever seen with this medium.  They are every bit as crisp (if not more so) than the resin castings.

Give it a look.

Construction of the 1/350 Trumpeter USS England has started here in the shipyard. England was a Buckley-class destroyer escort credited with sinking six Japanese submarines during WWII. At 1/350, her hull scales out to 10-1/2" long. All I'm adding is the Gold Medal Models PE set.

Here you see the 1.1" quad AA gun.

Here's one of her 3" dual-purpose guns.

The "hedgehog" launcher.

Forward superstructure with PE floater net baskets.

Open bridge structure with windshield.

The mast with assorted PE add-ons.

More to follow! As always, comments & criticisms welcome.
