you may want to paint the blast bags on the big guns on both

just that one thing will raise them to the next level

and where are the life boats

Is this a new kit of the Moscow? Ebay fodder? I wrote about the Crusier Moscow in one of my books. Acutually about the Moskva and the destroyer Besstrashny both of the Black Sea fleet. I did not stop to consider that there could be a model of same.

Tough request. Understand that I did not join the forum to hawk books. I joined to learn how to build models. I have been selling die cast airliners on line since 1999 via my two online stores. When I added Dragon Wings die cast to my line up along with it came the opportunity to add Hasegawa, Fujimi, Dragon Models, and Zvezda kits. I decided to try them. In the meantime I realized that I wanted to build some of those kits. An Aeroflot IL96, a Kursk sub, and a few others. So I joined htis forum to learn from you guys how to do it. I do not even own an air brush but I just did order a dramel, sanding sticks, files, a weathering kit...from the store listed above and I just bought the Moscow today from them because of this thread.

If you want to check out the book you can visit my website at http://www.normharris.com/  The novel is navy related, based in part on a commination of true events and some fiction. A sequel is almost complete and the first was considered for a feature film, aka movie treatment, but never happened. The Moskva (the Russian word for Moscow or Москва M=M o=o c=s k=k B=v a=a in Russian text), Bon Homme Richard, Arleigh Burk, Besstrashny, and a few others are mentioned in book in fictional war story line.

OK? And I will not mention it again. As I said, I had not intended to mention it but this Moskva thread caught my eye and I had no idea there was a model of a ship that I had written so much about. So thanks for that tip.

Many thanks for your kind comments and suggestions! This Moskva 1/700 has been released some time ago by Trumpeter, but just recently they released both the Slava Class Cruiser "Moskva" and the Udaloy Class Cruiser "Panteleyev" in 1/350 scale and I've got them both. I usaully collect 1/350 or bigger scale. Good luck with your Moskva build project, Peewee!

I did receive the 1:700 scale and now I will look for the 1:350 scale as well. Thanks.
